Hypothetical: Jorb and Loftar announce a ban on botting of any kind and intend on enforcing this through manual means (ie. teleporting to characters and checking themselves). Let's say they are actually successful with this and do it regularly. Honestly, would your village be able to manage?

I can tell you right now that I'd be perfectly fine not to bot anything ever. It would certainly suck to be forced to kill off some of my animals because I really hate doing that but I'd manage just fine. I think Badich would cry if he couldn't bot any more. You guys don't bot because the mechanics suck, you have 100,000 tiles in farm space or did you not notice?!

I think the devs should take the same approach they did with the illegal vaults in Legacy. Just state it loud and clear that botting is illegal. Then pick and ban the most notorious ones like Lady Goo or Apx, making it an example for everyone else. Of course people will still try to bot secretly, but not nearly as shameless as before. My two cents.
