For example scale of things is bigger and there is an mmo aspect of meeting all kinds of ppl, if it does things better than SV or not is purely subjective, but most things are at least as good.

That's debatable, seeing how it is in most games, I'd say most new players would still chose PVE. Still I do think that dividing the population between 2 servers might kill it. Good example of that you can see in Salem, with 20 players per server.
I feel like most new players does not exactly understand that there is pvp in the game, especially this kind of brutal pvp, so there is no way they are playing because of it.
