The really question is: Who thought it was a good idea to not announce this payment system in advance?

How do you not expect a huge backlash if you hype a relaunch without telling a game goes from f2p to p2p with that relaunch?

I have a feeling that RU players are very good and dependent in utilizing numbers strategy, botting, and automaton to win. So any drop in price would result in huge amount of difference since they need a lot of account/characters to operate properly. Just a feeling not an accusation. I'm also sensing their spam propaganda campaign (using their former bot accounts) in a race to drop price to 5$ or below it, there is one called teabot how suspicious is that..

Hey, my friend. I am from Lithuania and average monthly salary here is 250$. So, I buyed DayZ standalone, because it is very popular game and I paid one time and get unlimited access to the game with my character. Now, I don`t want to pay EVERY MONTH for not popular game, PRE ALPHA version, with lags, where my character can be died permamently. If you will change pay system to B2P (one time pay for one account and will take unlimited access with this account) - it will be good.

1. I can afford subscription, but first of all, I need some clarification from devs.
2. I don't drink vodka comrad, I love black tea.
3. I don't use bots, obviously because they are brake fun for me to play.

it's obvious he's not going to develope completely regardless of this game getting alot of suscribers or not, if it was me i wouldn't give up my job to develope this game and instead just develope minimum as possible while i sustain myself with a job.

I agree that it's not worth paying every month for a such an unpopular game in pre alpha with lags, permadeath and the inability to locate 7 of your dragon balls.. i mean friends on a second thought i dont think i would consider paying even if it was possible to locate your buddies because i feel that i already am using my time on this game when i could be playing something much more popular and extremely active with a cash shop.

I bought DayZ SA and have been regretting it since. Popular doesn't mean it's good, it's just.. popular? DayZ SA has been in early access for years the cars are not even working properly, the zombie still walks thru wall, it's horrible.

Haven's B2P is the verify account, unlimited access to game content but within time quota to prevent botting.

Hafen is early access too. It is pre ALPHA, with bugs and lags. With DayZ Standalone you can wait it don`t need to pay for waiting. But here, you cannot wait, because you need to pay for checking Hafen updates/bug fixes in game.
