Cleaned the last page up a bit. I'm in a good mood since its just been christmas & new year so lets leave it as just a bit of cleanup. Can we alls top derailing C&I, if people wanna argue/fight with each other do it in the moot, c&i should be for thoughts, ideas & constructive discussions/debates around such.

On a side note, Even though Kaios is in our discord, I don't actually remember the last time Kaios played 'in' the village.

The reality is if you don't know the mechanics in 100% you will die, or best case scenario you almost die.
Btw the pushing wouldn't do shit cause I was fully aware of what he was trying to do and was spamming the doorway every time i did anything

Yeah but that shouldn't mean remove the mechanic, it should be better explained or easier to modify such as being able to swap gates between visitor/non-visitor or changing the direction they open without requiring their destruction entirely. I do actually agree that it would simplify things if there were only one type of gate, but in that case visitor gate should not prevent access with active combat relations.

I figured but it seems a better option than running around inside aimlessly only to eventually lose. I doubt you would have went back with pixel perfect precision every time so a few pushes and they may have had enough space to get in. Push should probably move the pusher a bit in the direction of the one they are pushing, might somewhat help. Wasn't that one of the arguments regarding a PvE world though that without PvP you are unable to prevent someone from blocking you? Pvp did not help that guy at all with that.

Kind of funny you bragging that you have ganked and killed spruce-caps in nettle clothing with several dudes... wtf? Pathetic. You begging publicly to remove the last protection for spruce caps so you can practically abuse freely 95% of the player base. You have become de facto meta of this game to the dominant base.

  • The safepali didn't help him (he would have lived if he didn't go in unless he made some other huge mistake)
  • I probably wouldn't even be at his willig if ganking 'real' people around their walls was realistic
  • Even if safepalis did help the actual sprucecaps it wouldn't help them it'd just change where they see me
  • I have a safepali like 10 minimaps from this guy so no matter what since I know the mechanics I will NEVER get downed around his willig

it's kinda crazy how that image encapsulates every major point I have yet people manage to interpret it in the weirdest possible way because surely anybody who PVPs is disingenuous and only people with no experience can be trusted

Not sure about other people but you for sure can't be trusted.

And if big settlements were realistic a band of highway robbers wouldn't dream being seen in sight of their walls but this isn't realistic so instead we get a tiny bunch of psycopaths terrorizing the entire playerbase instead because that's what mechanics favor.
And lol at the guy surviving if he didn't go in the safepali I'm sure one of his other huge mistake would have been not carrying 20 waterskins in his troll belt that everyone has of course.
