I shall replace that feeling with the absolutely bottomless pit of despair that is the fact that we do not want any help.

No offense, but you are shoddy programmers and should at least consider hiring more people if the game turns out to be profitable.

No offense, but you have no idea what you are talking about. Loftar has built an entire god damned MMO pretty much by himself, and, guess what, it is extremely bug free. He is a genius, and you are clueless. End of story.

"shoddy programmers" are you for real?

The mere fact that you would advance that thought displays your complete ignorance of the subject. You have not programmed one line of meaningfully executable code in your life, and nor will you ever.

I was introduced to this game shortly before the release of the new patch, so fair to say I'm a very new player

I can understand the need to monetize the game, but I don't agree with the model you've adopted or the price. I'm not going to pay that much to play this game, and I don't believe the amount of time free players are allocated is sufficient to really get into the game. I therefore likely won't play, even though I do enjoy the game.

That's fine. We will keep developing both the game and the business model. Perhaps it will be more to your liking at some other point. Thank you for trying it out.

I did notice you read my old post suggesting some similar setup to Wurm (And also a grace period for the first bit of time), any opinions (Or not wanting to talk about what you have planned yet?)

I also have to ask that if you guys do any changes, would there be any compensation for people who buy it now? I plan to buy a month this week and wanted to ask if I should wait until after you and loftar discuss any possible store changes + do them if any are decided, or go ahead and buy them when I can.

But mine and some other player's are. I would surely pay if it was cheaper. Or even if you made some packs, like, each 10$ you get another instant 24h + montly 24h, something not much expensive.

No game is worth more money than H&H, I mean for my case I've clocked over 16 weeks game time just on this account and loved every minute. But I agree with the thought behind this, yes it's definitely cheap if you buy a years subscription but there should be an offer just to buy instant game time, with or without the monthly renewing benefit.
Because Money per month, it's still cheaper to subscribe but only if you commit to more months than you can say that you'll spend with the game. Something might happen in 4 weeks that stops me playing for a long time, but i've still got that yearly subscription fee because to get a sub other than the yearly is just wasting money. And that isn't a very efficient design.

Yeah. I expressed myself poorly. Maybe your programming skills are good-- after all, building an MMO can't be easy. I've never coded anything in my life, so I don't know.

What I meant to say is that from an outsider point of view, the product you offer is a bit lackluster and it is hard to imagine it competing with other MMOs. This doesn't make it bad or worthless, I love Haven and Hearth. It's just very unpolished is all. It comes off as a somewhat clumsy pet project, not a professional game.

Anyways, I'll stop talking now. This line of conversation can lead nowhere good.

There most certainly would be, yes. I will make a point of not punishing anyone for buying in sooner. On the contrary I would look to overcompensate you if that indeed turned out to be the case.

Haha, a political left dodge!

But I won't pry, I'm very excited for the future of Hafen and thank you both for the work put into it.
