It would pretty substantially delay the formation of markets until after gold, which is currently necessary for realm formation, and province expansion, which is currently quite slow. So I'd expect by week 8, which is quite late into the world, realms will only be a few provinces.

It'd be less of an issue if proto-realms - we'll call them "Tribes" - could be formed in week 1, and more rapidly expand than currently. Clay tablets should also be able to be minted like coins day 1 as well.

As someone who ran a small group of 4-12 people since world 10 I can kinda agree with some of the points, I tell all member to just avoid pools and thingwalds unless were all on to help if someone gets jumped, this world alone I had 3 people jumped while just trying to go to market.
I like the idea of "Duchies" being the largest village with most authority in a thingwald and them being able to disable jumping for non member/realm members.

I would love to be able to use the tent more and play a more nomadic life style trading goods with my group of merry men but with how the game is now the tent is near useless. :lol:
