Of course it does NOT roll over. (Either you are new or that's a pretty silly question)The whole purpose of the "free players" (A tiny less for "verified"..lol but still same premise, just that they got at least 15$ from ya) is that those who pay have low defense settlements to raid, weaker players to grief and kill ect, ect. Without that cannon fodder, the "payers" would have to do it to each other, which after a certain time, aside from personal rivalries, would cause a certain percentage of them to become frustrated, rage quit, bored of restarting or losing all their stuff, ect, ect. So again, no, it does not "rollover", that would defeat the point of your position. Which in light of, It would have made more sense to just have free accounts and play what little you can since you'd never get far anyway. The free aspects isn't something they did out of niceness, you are needed to "Fill out" the game with fodder...it IS a permadeath raid game after all.

Have an idea - make time in-game currency, that can be stored on a hearthfire(you can make an UI for HFstore). And it sells hours in the store. Who need - buy the right amount of hours, and will not spend hours in the monthly subscription.

P.S. - sorry, googletranslate make me a funnytalking.

Ok so after traveling for 5 hours without making a hf and getting stuck in a cave cause some asshole claimed all the exits, I got pretty salty and uninstalled for a while (ofcourse I reinstalled about 12 hours later, also please fix this stupid bug), so I had some time to think about the subscription model. The cheapest option is $10 per month, and to someone who can spend more than 14 hours in to this game per week, $120 might be a bit too costly for them (no offence).

So I was thinking about a world subscription, where you pay a certain amount of money and you can play for an unlimited amount of time for the rest of that world, with the guaranteed length of 3~4 months. You can also buy multiple worlds at once at a discounted price or something along those lines. This encourages new worlds to come out sooner and maybe more content to be added in to the game for testing. Also maybe give free players just a bit more time cause you cant even play more than an hour a day...

So let's say the world subscription managed to just be able to pay the servers for some reason. How else would they be able to make money? Alot of people are suggesting cosmetic options, but character looks are actually pretty important. Maybe keeping it to hats would be ok I guess, but you have to be able to tell if someone is a treat to you or not by looking at their character's equipment. So I'm not quite sure on that, but maybe like a badge next to your name once you've kinned someone in the kin list would be really cool.

edit: also sub tokens?!?! so p2w qq
edit2: ohh, I thought the cosmetics were something you wore over your gear. If it doesnt provide any stats or whatever, that's cool.

You know you can buy a full year for $72, right? Bringing the price/mo down to $6?

Single 72$ payment looks even more unreal to half of CIS community then 10$. Just think about price discount for cis like big mmo's and steam.
By the way CIS players is half of game online.

I think it might be another fact, about how people feel when they give 10$, and when they give 72$ at once. Second seems pretty big, hah? In my country it's around 1/4 or 1/5 of my monthly earnings. But alright I'm just randomplacesworking student, that's true. I know how it looks thinking logically, BUT many people tend to think "Oh god, 72$! I can spare those 10 bucks, but 72?!". And then the next month comes.
Nonetheless, you cannot do anything about it. Just random pseudo-psychological toughts.

EDIT: And up. Some Russians are even poorer than we Poles.

for some budgets 10$ missing can be overlooked but 72$ missing may screw something up bills wise :/

I'm aware that there's lots to it. Merely pointing out that if you are paying 120/year you are kind of doing it wrong.
