Would love this, I hate being confined to 4 angles. There should be an option for free camera mode. For some reason when you zoom in close on your character it actually becomes exactly what I want, but there's a crossover point where it snaps back to the 4 angles again as you zoom back out.

I doubt that it needs a whole damn button of its own, but maybe we could do something. Will consider.

Actually I think its helpful. I have discovered if I move my camera angle from the start position when i try to collect things they are off even though the mini map show me going toward them. As i get close they are suddenly moving away from me. So it forces me to auto pick instead of manually moving toward them. I think its all linked somehow but Im no expert on how it works.

Back in legacy Haven, when sometimes the camera moved to completely bizarre locations after entering/leaving caves or houses (entirely black screen), I added a console command ':c' to center the camera on the player again. It was really convenient. Perhaps something like this could be added for rotation.
