Replace Instant Death from Drowning

Just have it add wounds for every second that you're out of stamina in the water, an injury named Drowned. It still sucks a lot and is easily fatal but people won't log on after a crash and die because someone stole their boat.

Would be better than how it is currently for sure.

Call it 'waterlogged' or 'aspiration' and it gives a permanent penalty to your stamina until recovered. (Will heal naturally, and relatively quickly depending on the degree)

Yes please, and maybe add a chance to wash up on shore, KO'd and with severely depleted HP if you do go under.

This would be great, now that wounds are actually serious we don't need super-mega-insta death from drowning.

Just add check on login if character on deep water tile without boat and offer spawn on heart fire.

Yeah we considered this when implementing drowning, but for some reason which now escapes me I argued against it.

I agree that it is a good idea.

Though it would imply drowning real quick if your HHP is already low from other wounds, which arguably is at least a little bit odd.
