Hunger isnt a problem

Am I the only one who thinks that its pretty much impossible to die from hunger? In my opinion you should make the hunger go down faster, so there would be another reason to eat in the game than just for the stats.

No, you are not the only one. It is pretty much impossible to die from hunger.

Well, isn't this something you'd want to change?

As someone who just walked overland 6 hours in game yesterday, I did get kinda close to starving. It's not a huge issue but it's still certainly relevant for hard labor like tree-cutting or mining, or really long distance walks.

I thought the amount it went down in HnH1 was good. It seems even slower now, and food is more abundant.

But hunger was meaningless and shit in Legacy? The comparison is pointless.

Try clearing a decent size area of trees with your stone axe and come talk to me again.

I think it's pretty balanced now, you really go through energy fast when chopping trees, destroying stumps and levelling areas

I starved for a while when I was starting out, and it took almost a week to heal fully. Travel a lot at speed 3 while drinking water all the time, and you're gonna need a real good food supply to keep up your energy. At this point I can manage (though I'm almost always short on varied food to remain at healing level while increasing stats), but if I had to spend even more time collecting food the game would be a lot less fun.
