Ok, so I've been bitchin 'bout that here and there on the forum, but now I feel the need to put this under "Critique" board.
My free playtime is almost over, and i've set a neat base camp with my friend, which included a LOT of heavy lifting, water drinking, chair sitting, not to mention digging and chopping trees.
As for now, I've had 6 (six!) Lore Events, namely:
-- Haven and Hearth (entered the game, duh);
-- A Marriage of Light and Darkness (chose male sex);
-- Wind & Fire (entered the world);
-- Treading Grass (took a step);
-- Leaping Free (jumped off a ledge);
-- By Weeping Willows (poked some tree);
And this is all the exp. points I've got by now.
While I was spending these mere 2000, carelessly burningh through them with Mirkwood Offerings, I was sure more Lore pops up in due time. Down to 500 exp. i've began to have my doubts and even try to ration my curios. Now it's been a long time since I'm sitting on zero (nada, zilch) exp. and chew my way through this harsh world studying none-experience-demanding Ant Soldiers (200 lp).
To make things worse and me even angrier, my companion keeps on and on getting Lore events literally every 15 minutes or so; he almost can't touch a chair with his buttcheek, and "la-di-da", he's got another few hundreds of exp.points. This is really annoying since I have him on Skype and hear all the Lore pop-ups sounds.
I guess there's nothing more to add to the topic, my misery is pretty much self-explanatory. The disadvantage I'm put into is overwhelming, forget about progressing in the world -- talk about scraping to upkeep the claim. With all the time wasted already on raiding ant hills, I didn't even bother (though the thought visited me) to create another toon and check if this misfortune is account-wide or bound to one character.
Having read other experience-related threads, I do think that I am not the only one cursed with ill will of Haven loremasters, but I fail to see an effective way of resolving the issue (if the developers are even planning on doing so). I just do what I can and hope for the best. Any comments, workarounds and hints on what can be possibly done are most welcome.
