One-handed weapons

I am assuming that, just like in the previous versions, as melee weapons we'll have either swords or b12s.

My suggestion: keep it that way, but make it so that while crafting "swords" we are able pick different cosmetics for the item: hatchet, club, mace, dagger, quarter spear.
The stats would be exactly the same, but they would look different.

Or instead of giving us a choice, make the output reflect the crafter's highest stat e.g. club for strength, sword for agility, hatchet for constitution. For me this is similar to the wood color feature.

I suppose this could also be applied to different shield patterns and colors.

The weapon coming out as something different is super dumb, because str would always be the highest stat of a metal crafter. Being able to choose would be different, but generally useless and time-consuming.

Painted shields would be rly cool tho. Can't wait to put a dick on mine to distract my opponents.

It's not time-consuming at all. It's literally as fast as crafting a sword is at the moment.

Uselessness is relative. Having hair is useless and people still keep it. Don't underestimate the power of cosmetics.

But granted, stat-related output is pointless. I was actually thinking of skill-based output to reflect one's professions like survival-hunter, scythe for high farming, dagger for the stealthy, etc., but at the time stats seemed better for some reason.

It would be cool to have all matter of flails, maces, spears, halberds, swords, axes, and the like...

Jorbtar, would that be of any priority with y'all?

Oh, I disagree. Team Fortress 2 weapons shop. Need I say more?
