Why they require only cast iron now? People who get lucky to make just bronze cannot do shit with it?

Because iron is a hard metal.

You aren't going to make a very durable pickaxe with copper or tin, and even bronze is very brittle compared to iron.

If they had bronze pickaxes, we'd have to replace them all of the time. No thanks. (Stone axes last forever because Jorb and Loftar polish each and every one of them.)

Nope, pretty sure you need hammer + anvil for that. The things you can make without investing 7 bars of iron first are very, very limited.
