Loading benches into carts and vans.

Postby RomanRichter » Thu Sep 10, 2015 6:48 am

How about feature to load big benches (Smelters, klins, etc.) in carts and vans? In exchange of passenger seats and space for object to store inside.

Loaded workbenches will reduce speed of van, and can be loaded if player have proper STR value or with support of other player(both need to lift bench simultaneously before loading).

you cannot just pickup a smelter or a kiln, even in reality it would cause a lot of issues, the best way to incorporate this idea would be the construction of speacilized wagons that only do a kiln or a smelters job but the issue remains a kiln cannot move when in sue, movement of a kiln will cause the shattering of clay, its already a pain in the ass to not shatter clay while actually using one, thank the jorb it doesnt seem like hafen suffers the same chance. and a smelter requires too much heat for a wagons saftey it really just comes down to the fact that these type of facilities are not ones you can transport in any sense in reality or in hafen and as such dont make sense to incorporate.

Well, I still don't now is hafen about fantasy or realism, so why not? Why you can't use ropes for that?

Yeah it's seems legit that you need to clear bench from shit, and wait until it cools down before load them in.

Or 2 option, special wagons only for bench transportation.

Smelters and kilns? Nah, brah. Buildings are buildings and carryables are carryables, and never the twain shall meet. A bird and a fish may fall in love, but where would they live?

Shallow water, or even a pond would work, I don't really understand how this applies considering buildings and carriables can both live on the ground, and carriables can even live inside buildings!

I dont think you understand what hes talking about. Your comparing the wrong things, a fish may not fly in the sky and a bird may not swim in the sea, a building may not be carried, a caryable may not be entered or used as a building

Edt: Darn, missreaded what you saying. Silly me. ¦]
Yeah, it seems unrealistic, but still, why not just give a special wagons for bench transporting or something like that?
Because if some want to change his home location it will take hours to destroy benches!
