I really would like to buy subscription for Hafen, but rly?

Maybe its my error but can you actully only use PayPal credit card option? What about normal PayPal payment or sms thing?
Would it be a big problem?

I heard a rumour that paypal has been mucking with their option settings and some people are getting Paypal automatically trying to use their credit system instead of your bank account.

It seems to be localized to small regions, possibly testing reactions.

@op double check your settings in paypal? This might be what's happening.
