Streamline Tanning Fluid Production

Making Tanning Fluid is still very clicky... Is it possible that you could make it so that if you have an empty barrel, and a full barrel of water, and bark in your inventory, that you can 'craft all' using one as a stockpile and the other as a deposit container?

Basically I just want a way to go "Here, entire barrel of tanning fluid!"

I don't care about the time, just the clicky.

Yeah, its clunky right now.

Ctrl/shift+LMB/RMB with bucket in corresponding hand can fill/empty barrels and other liquid containers.

Still clicky but less window shopping.
Come back two hours earlier.

Semi-related (?):

It seems there is no way to one-click empty a barrel?
Is this an anti-griefing, anti-oh-shit measure, or an oversight?
I have been missing it when scrub villagers fill key barrels with q5 water.
