Digging

Digging up dirt. its teidious. Is there anyway you guys could look into making dirt stockpiles or maybe being able to use a cart to stockpile just dirt? it hold like 300 or so loads? and when ur attached to it it would go directly into the cart and vise versa? cuz doing about 18 loads of dirt at a time is annoy af.

and the survey thing only does 30x30... its very time consuming.

There would be dirt stockpiles were it not for the fact that the placement mode for stockpiles presently interacts poorly with a placement mode for dirt itself. Will fix at some point.

I also suggest giving us a LP skill to increase digging speed. I want to create some cool things but at the current speed it would take way too much time.

+1 on increasing the survey bigger than 30x30

Thanks

Or maybe a way to link two surveys (within reasonable limits regarding range), so that excess of the one you are working on is used to raise (not lower) the other. This would cut down on the repeated clicking (maybe not the running: pathfinder anyone?).

Get a metal shovel, it makes an insane difference.

I know this has been suggested before, but can't you make carts function as a dirt stockpile? It would be quite the band-aid solution to the lack of dirt stockpiles right now, if they want to store dirt they'll just have to make a bunch of carts.

Right click dirt on cart > it turns into a dirt pile on the cart.

Make digging/"make level" automatically drop into/take from the cart and terraforming just became much less of a hassle.
