Name crafted items

Postby craigh1993 » Wed Sep 09, 2015 3:59 am

Probably been suggested a million times i'm not sure, it'd be cool to name certain crafted items such as weapons and Armour and have them float around the world from person to person, become well known etc.
Yesterday I murdered a rock, beat up a stone. Hospitalized a brick, I'm so mean I make medicine sick.

Artifacts could be cool, yeah.

New craft-able, etching stone. Make it (using rare items, but easy over the long run), once made use on item. Then you get to name it.

That or it can be a cash shop item for a buck a peace or something, or both. Both likely be cool.

Marking

After buying a certain skill the player should be able to mark on his weapon or armour
This could be used to personalize items

Or maybe "crafted by: (craftersnamehere)" on clothes/swords? So we can see who you bought your gear from

Yeah, naming things would be fun.

Crafting Tags

Postby Resture » Tue Sep 22, 2015 10:38 pm

The thought was when you craft an item it could have a simple tag "Created by Character's Name"
or the option to carve your own text in the craft.

It would be cool for random gifts to nearby settlements
or carvings on your boat and cart so you can find the stolen items.

I think it would also require the addition of "Inspect" as an option for most items.

Even a Carrot Cake with a simple "Happy Birthday" carved in to it could add so much.
