Coal Paving

Can you bring back paving with coal? It comes in huge amounts so why can't we have it for artistic purposes?

I assume you mean charcoal, which is incredibly brittle and disintegrates rapidly. On the other hand, mined coal and basalt are both fairly common underground.

Pretty sure coal has a little bit of white texture in it, basalt is flat black.

Is it just charcoal we can't pave with? If it requires black coal I have no issues with that :P
