Buoy & Clay digging

Buoy & Clay digging

Digging clay nodes that are out in lake flats is kind of a nuisance for tracking node peaks. Could we get some kind of floating buoy construction for marking these things? Thinking in fancy terms, making a buoy act like a "Survey" region that let you automatically move between clay tiles would be wonderful. Clay is currently pretty clicky for the amount you end up needing for larger constructions. Which seems weird, since most of the other mechanics got less click intensive while clay digging got more so.

Dig -> shift left click for digging more clay. It would be nice to mark nodes though.

Well now. Since no area thing popped up when I did that I assume it wasn't actually a hotkey. Thanks, I'll add that to my guide hotkey list.

GUI showing that it's selecting an area would be nice for that :) And I stand by my buoy fluff request, perhaps in a couple months when they have nothing better to do XD

Yes! I'm not the only one that gets surprised by a hotkey! Imagine my surprise when I tried shiftclicking while digging clay like you shiftclick while harvesting crops etc.

Shouldn't be too hard to make survey work on water somehow, right?

If you use TP's map tool thing, at least, you can place markers down on it to mark those nodes.
