Wall system and siege

In my opinion, current walls look like upgraded fences.
Why won't we get something like this

Bigger walls should have an option to get on and walk freely, attach towers just like in Stronghold xD
Second thing is that people shouldn't be able to see through the walls, there should be some kind of fog of war or black screen of what's inside or what's outside if you're in.
However obviously you can see everything clearly from towers and walls and exchange arrows with attackers.
Also what about another siege machines? Catapult to siege from longer distances or balista to slowly shoot heavy dmg arrows.

The problem with 'fog of war' mechanics is that it's trivial for clients to remove them.

Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

I'm not opposed to full blown defence systems like fortifications and such. However to add such means adding new siege equipment to counter it.
