It would be extremely nice if we could engrave names to swords + even more amazing if you could see the kill count on the swords (showing how many people killed with certain lp, or even names).
This will create relics (legendary swords) ;)

This is an interesting idea to add content without worrying about balance calculations. Even though weapons get obsolete through quality grind, the idea of having a ritual blade or a family heirloom is really interesting. Relics could even become a trade item at some point.

The name could be displayed on Inspect: Sword, also showing its age.

Kill count should only include Valhalla-worthy characters though, because alts.

And of course, bows could have that too.

Rather than LP, I'd rather see combat stats tracked. Combination of MC/UA or something of that nature. Legendary swords need only track worthy fighters. No viking cared how many peasfool farmers his blade took.

In general I want to see more low magic in game anyway. Stuff like this works up that alley well.

It would be pretty cool to add a socketing system for weapons and armour, things like...

''Hearthlings killed'
'Damage delt'
'Damaged absourbed'

Could even be something added from the store *wink wink* *nudges Jorb*

This would be awesome.

Along with a recipe to "reforge" the sword with new bars/block, in case your quality improves.

When you craft sword you can name it and it wil lshop "crafted by: name of crafter"
This would be very nice indeed.
Please, no more "20 $ for naming weapon" stuff. Theres enough of that for this month.
