I would like each character to be a member of an unlimited number of "groups", which can be organized in a flexible way.
-Permissions similar to village permission system, which is now pretty good. So you can have a leader/follower system or a more flat structure, with ways of protecting this.
-Secret/nonsecret groups
- You can choose to display the group status of characters of a particular nonsecret group you know of (chosen at any one time through the kin screen), probably a star next to their name or something (this implies a way of telling someone about a group you are a member of also, btw)
- Group claim similar to a personal claim, but with a potentially more flat ownership structure, depending on the organization of the groups. Probably one person at a time would have the responsibility of the bond.
This means in game support for guilds, inter-village groups and alliances, etc.
