The Pyre

A simple yet fun idea.

Would be cool if we could build a funeral pyre (with some blocks/boughs/stones) and 'place' player corpses on it to burn.

Burning a corpse could provide little yet interesting benefits (to have as an option for new players or some other specific cases like some really casual friends I have)
for example:

Burning a corpse would allow that character into Valhalla even if they're not 'developed enough'.
Maybe a small & temporary LP boost for the direct heir if the corpse was burned.

Besides, it sounds and looks cool.
I was a bit inspired about that quote Bob Dole's death on the "Stop hitting yourself' thread on The Moot:

After dying he said he was quitting and gave us all the good stuff from his plot. Died an honorable death in a 1v1 when he was in a brickwalled plot and really didn't have to die.

I mean.. seriously, that's so cool. I'd totally arrange his funeral even if he was my enemy. Such honourable deaths we have in Haven sometimes, allow us to dispose of our dead with honor and dignity before the Gods!

Oh, ok. You said temp lp boost, so I thought you mean you get some lp for boost temp. NVM.

I think an easier implementation for something like this is that a burned body provides a few more curiosities besides the skull with varying percentages of the skull value. Say femur for 50 percent, collar bone for 25%.

Fresh bodis could be put in boats, then lit up. That would be perfect.

Yeah, this would be cool, either a built funeral pyre or a burning boat, tbh, both would be nice to have as an option, my skeleton is laying in a boat, I don't like looking at it but don't want to just abandon it somewhere either ... ... I would love to be able to give myself a proper funeral and dispose of the bones.

I like the idea of the entry into Valhalla but then everyone would just burn their corpses and it would be overrun .... the noobs would give the experienced some easy target practice though, lol.
