Political Systems, Nations, and Wars

I would really like to see Political Systems, Nations, and Wars and all that stuff implemented. This would really turn the RPG from simple kill and work all day into something bigger, like a separate online world of its own where each player/citizen/official/businessman/king contributes to building the entire game world. What do you think?

A kingdom system is the next bigger project they have in the pipes. That includes a siege overhaul which will hopefully allow actual wars. I am not sure how much of a preset political system they want though.

There shouldn't be "preset" political systems (including "preset" Kingdoms) but rich tools for creating such systems ...

Yes and that's what's bugging me the most. The system as in the leaked document would be better than nothing of course, but we'll need tools to manage one's kingdom in order to create the social and political dynamic devs hinted they want.

If we can't decide to lower the XP tax from vassals to attract more citizens, or disallow them from crafting certain items, or grant special benefits to specific vassal villages to help with diplomatic negotiations, then the system will be the same grindy lameness as usual - nothing dynamic at all.
