Prorating trees

Rowan trees (4 berries) start producing berries before 50% grown.
2 Log trees produce 1 log around 40% grown.
Mulberry and fruit trees produce fruit around 30%.

Why do normal 2 seed trees not produce 1 seed before 99%. Somewhere around 65% would be nice.

Seconded. Birch and spruce trees take too long to give seeds compared to mublerries.

Seedbearing trees should give seeds earlier. Will consider. Thanks.

while we're on the subject, why do oak, birch, fir, pine, etc only give 2 seeds?
