pouring metal into anthills

Postby Eggy57 » Sun Dec 13, 2015 8:08 pm

I was just on youtube and I ended up watching videos of people that poured metal into anthills. I propose that it's possible to pour metal into an anthill and get the result as a curio.

This would b e cool. Pouring molten tin inside would result in some curio. Ql determinated by ql of anthill and ql of tin.

How would you get molten tin?
Maybe when the smelter is 50% done you grab a metal container to transfer the molten metal to an anthill?

Or just use an alloying crucible to melt it? :p

That would actually be awesome. We've talked about a foundry mechanic where you pour metal to cast various things like anvils, &c, and if we had molten metal...
