Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Reimplement wind

Postby caasi117 » Sat Jan 02, 2016 2:47 pm

Back in 2009 when i was first shown haven and hearth one thing i was shown by my friend was wind and how you could pick it up (if you could actually run into one) and make a sword with it. i think it would be good to add it again to make a basic weapon for newbs and it could also be used to make late game items.

It was removed because it was generic magic that was way too common to really be thought of as magic. Devs are trying to limit this type of over-saturated magic.

I was editing wiki page for this thing, and though I wasn't there for the real thing, I still think it should be reimplemented.

In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.”

Pick up wind? That's hilarious! Say, does anyone have some english videos/screenshot albums of the REALLY old versions of this game? I always wanted to know what it was like back in 2000...
Total misplay.

I recall reading Wind Sword was equivalent to Militia Sword (wrought iron.)

http://havenandhearth.wikia.com/wiki/Wind_Blade only says it allowed usage of the same moves as metal swords. However if I understood http://havenandhearth.wikia.com/wiki/Wind correctly you could raise its quality more easily than metals.

wind was terrible in every way and metal is extremely accessible now compared to how it used to be
