Multiple servers

So I have been playing on the same server for 5 or 6 hours trying to find one rock. Only to come across settlements that were long ago abandoned. I really want to advance in this game as it is very fun and my style.

Walk in one direction. Maybe 5 hours you will find boulder

Remember than gray rocky ground gives you infinite stones when you dig on them

i live about 3hours from starting zone and there are stones all around me, i even found surface iron (heavy earth) to get a headstart a month after server start

only seen 3 ppl, only one was hostile

There are many better ideas for limited resources than having multiple servers such as just having renewable and accessible basic materials for newbies to find and take advantage of. Splitting the population with multiple servers would lead to sad times as fewer player interaction in the game makes it less fun to play.

There are a few things you can do.

Walk in one direction for a few hours, i walked about 4 hours... i think.. May not be the best solution for newbies, as it stops you from really getting into the game quickly.

You could ask if there is a village that will allow newbies to join in the appropriate threads. Join up with them,learn the ropes, have fun

Find a village close to you that has a mine or some ground rock, trade with them.

In start are rocks can be scarce. Pick a direction and walk at least an hour. You may get lucky and find an exposed stone surface to dig rocks from before then however.
