Progression specialization

The new system will make all stats cap at a specitic value.

My suggestion is that we be allowed to specialize in one stat or skill, for variety's sake. So instead of capping everything at 200, we could choose to cap one of our stats at 250, while all the others would be capped at 180.

The exact numbers don't matter. You get the idea.

Ill + 1/2 this. Id like to see the idea fleshed out a little more.

A raider pushing up strength or perc does not really need carpentry. So it would be a meaningless cap. But forcing the raider/attacker to drop agi for strength. mainly as you cant get Mr worlds strongest to hop and skip over a tree log.. they would probably just go through it :)

worth consideration, i suppose, but doesn't that just bring us back to the old alts for each role scenario?

If the LP cost scale is higher and the gap between stats is smaller (say, 220/180), making alts might not be worth it that much.
Then again, stat cap in itself already leads to more alts.

Why its been suggested that there is not caps, but speeds in which things differ based on pay level.
