After the world reset, have a temporary extreme buffed world

Since the world reset is taking place, we can have a extremly buffed world take in place in the middle, which can last 10-20 days.
Have all the qualities range from 1000-10000, water, soil, clay, forageables, all 1000-10000.
Then, make the LP multiplier 10-100x.

Then, let's run that world for 10-20 days and see what will happen.

I think it'd be cool to relax from the grind and enjoy super high q from the beginning for a few days.

Oh, also, lift the hardcap temporarily.

So you want a sandbox to create a castle. It would make a fun learning place. This would be a nice area for new players to learn the basics safely before committing to the real game. But i would make it a separate thing from the real game. Even then Id make it a limited time place to play so it does not detract from the real game.

I did say it should be limited time, I said it should be only 10-20 days, so we just have some neat experience and fun.

Also, it's not necessarily safe for new players, because everyone get same buff, and the oldbies will still have more advantage.

I just feel sick of those grind for q and lack of good resource nodes, so I thought, since this game resets every now and then anyways, why not have a temporary world where q are buffed up.

Im not disagreeing. :)

My point was to suggest a permanent test world on the server so people can safely learn the basics for a limited time. This would allow others to explore and learn before being thrown tot he wolves of the main game. :)

I see what you mean, though I don't think the buffed nodes can help newbies learn, the buff really give everyone excitement.

Bad idea, would be an even bigger fuckup than the metal one we had this world.

For a bigger lerning experience the starter room could be expanded, but I don't think that this is really needed.

Well this is a pretty good idea for learning but it should be done on a different server or just for this world sake as you said 10-20 days of this buff and world restarts as real W9. If not it will be end-game era of W9 in 10-20 days.

Yea, I see Granger don't even get it, I DID NOT intended it for it to be some lesson for newbies, and I DID NOT want it permanent, ONLY FOR 10-20 days, as a FUN ACTIVITY, to see how it plays out if we have super good resource node everywhere, then we restart as the real W9, which has normal resource nodes.

I once setuped and made work a metin2 server for myself. The result was me bored 1 day later because i had the best of everything and I runed out of content. Doesnt matter if you are alone or not, when you do something like this you break the balance and the game gets boring and without any goal.
One month ago I decided to cheat on dungeon adventures (or something like this) and as soon as i cheated on money or stats the game became a shit. I'm playing right now to The darkest dungeon and Im sure that as soon as I cheat with money game will be a rubish. And thats because everything is balanced in order to be funny.
Im sure this is a bad idea.

Starting room could serve as a teaching area, true. But there is more a sense to the survival and explore aspect to a separate world. I mean you have to learn skills, collecting and making food, mining and such. I quite simply think giving new players a chance to understand the game more would be beneficial before being tossed unknowing into the violence that can be main Haven. If they at least learn the basics of survival then when they enter the real game it lets them have a better survival chance.

The more new people we keep the better for the game. After all the cold reality of raiders, griefers, and such will be a big enough shock.
