Suggestion for the altar at the end of next world (or this one if you would like to update how it works).
- have the altar spawn somewhere, dont make people create it, and dont have it exist for the entire world.
- have a dead zone around the altar so that people cannot build walls around it for a very long distance. (maybe on an sizable island that spawns in a lake?)
- when a person sacrifices himself. the HP of the altar is set and the stats of the altar are set.
- if the guy had 1500 combined stats, and the altar is at 100% health someone with 1501 stats would have to sacrifce themselves onto it.
- if the altar is damaged and at 90% health, you will only need 1351 stats to sacrific urself and beat it.
- examining the altar lets you know if you are to weak, but doesn't say what you need.
- if you successfully sacrifice urself, the altars HPs are refilled.
once the 2 week timeframe for the game ending has started, it will not be reset. only the HP of the altar is reset. the altar cannot be completly destroyed, if you bash the altar down to 0% the person simply disappears from the altar, however usually the person will be replaced long before you get down to 0%.
i think this idea is much better than what is currently happening and will promote more of a struggle at the end of the world.
