Carts and Caves

Sorry if this has already been suggested, but I didn't see it on my brief scanning of the lists:

It would be nice if carts could go in and out of caves! If Wheelbarrows can't, they should as well!

you can already build carts inside caves (unless they changed it since w8). and you can carry a wheelbarrow in. one can squeeze a horse into a cave but it takes some finagling trying to enter the cave on the side

could be more fluid

I suggest that normal cave openings cant allow vehicles through.

Instead, you can build a structure on the cave entrance that 'upgrades' it into a mine shaft type thing that allows carts and wheelbarrows through.

Would be a nice touch to a much-needed feature.

I like your folks' ideas. The upgrade sounds great, require mining, metal working, iron for a shaft upgrade. I desire the mentioned changes because I want to be able to bring stacks/carts full of logs and such inside. Let's hope Jorb approves of something to these effects.

That might be nice but it also isn't easy to fix.

A check when entering the portal, and in case a cart is on you it'll be ported inside?

id be in favor of being able to dig into the side of cliffs to make a mineshaft, with the same function as a minehole, that will allow carts ect to go through. of course it should cost comparable materials to a minehole.

Neither do figuratively and literally.
