Increase the capacity for metal stockpiles

Metal piles suck atm

25 bars per stockpile isn't enough considering most people build their smelters in a mine and can use cupboards instead.
I'd much rather have a cupboard in the same tile of space. It holds much more and it doesn't take up more than 1 tile

On that note, 100 nugget stockpile would be nice too.

Honestly, I never understood why anyone would use a stockpile that offers less storage capacity than a cupboard. It's not like it's hard to make a bunch of cupboards and store stuff in them.

Lot of people store their metal outside at their smelters -> cupboard decays

They used to be smaller. You know the consequences we had to pay last time for a stockpile size increase. Loftar can only take so much abuse.

Can we have a bucket stockpile too? Make it hold 2 buckets.

Why stop at that? Since we can technically pick up a stockpile with a wheelbarow, why not implement a wheelbarrow stockpile, or "stockpile stockpile"? Just imagine the possibilities!

But, yeah, we do need a way to stash buckets on the ground for a while without them disappearing. Not sure how would that work with an object that can contain other objects, though.

This already exists. It's called a crate. It also holds 2 buckets.
