Things that have broken the game and make it unplayable.

Broken taming : takes way too long and a lot of animals die in taming process I tame animals the same way every time and randomly they still die ,If that isn't enough the fact you never get a male makes you want to give up all together.
When taming I've had cows run around breaking everything including chicken coups that btw WONT drop the content on the floor (like everything else that is broken ) it will just vanish into thin air.So say bye to dairy products which are the best in game.

Steel silk tanning wax and trees : In my opinion takes way to fucking long steel being the worst ,Having to log in every 11 hours to refill is not as easy as it sound unless you have the time to do so ,so unless you have no life or are botting steel is out of reach, as a mostly solo player i want easy access to high tier stuff and not have to sacrifice my weekend just to make a set of steel plate that I will probably be ganked in anyway.
Wax is frankly a joke when living in confined space you cant afford to have more than 1 or 2 hives so having to save for a mine hole will take you weeks to collect by which time you will probably give up ,If you don't and succeed and make your first mine hole, then you have mining out a troll to look forward to which are also broken to fuck and will break you along with your miner and any chance you have of mining unless you want to spawn in an army of naked archery alts and cheese it.

Curios :When i use to play in world 7 a big part of the game for me would be going out exploring and looking for high lp curios which you would find A LOT ruby dragonflies flotsam Edelweiß pearl laden mussels four leaf clovers.... now i could go out every day for 1 or 2 hours and find next to nothing also collecting mussels for pearls ,this and last world i have collected 3 or 4 cupboards of muscles and not got one pearl from them ,so unless you have no life or are botting you have a small chance of finding these things

Hit boxes : I don't need to say much but you have to use a custom client with hitboxes turned on just to make navigation bearable which looks ugly

In my opinion if you fix these things ie broken taming quicker silk steel tanning and wax easier curios to find Along with more frequent world wipes (3-6 months per world ) would make this game more appealing to people.
Right now this is unplayable after so long it becomes stale and boring and more of a chore rather than a fun interesting game that Haven should be ,right now it is just balanced for large clans botters and new players that will not log back in after the 3rd or 4th week.

Please make haven great again

I agree foraging curios used to be more fun. hit boxes are annoying. Steel has always been a long process but the rewards are worth the time.

You don't know how to tame correctly, then. Are you trying to cheese it with gates or rocks or something? Are you setting peaceful immediately as the fight begins? I've tamed dozens upon dozens of animals successfully without the issues you're reporting.

In order: get friends, make a bigger base, mining would be risk free without trolls.

This is true, but it's a lot better now than it has been.

Also true, but they're working on it.

I've played off and on since w5 beginning basically. Looking at it only from the post curio era, this is imo the best haven has ever been. I agree it's not all perfect though.

Foraged curios took a hit because big factions were botting them in a way that was pretty unfair I (and apparently the devs) feel. The fate system took away much that was good, and left basically junk and spam collectibles like blueberries. Stalagooms also got rarer iirc, which makes me sad because I quite liked running those consistently.

Foraging could do with a bit of love, but I'm not sure how to do it in a way that doesn't put us back with botters having cabinets of flotsam to run constantly while the rest of us are happy to see one per day.

taming is definitely not broken unless you're trying to cheat

taming is easy e.o
worse part is forgetting to change to peace

i agree i hated farming before beehives due to the slow process in early game. imo beehives should make the plants give more seeds than grow faster (isn't that how it is irl? bees increase the yield and not the actual growth rate )

Huh, TIL. Not really sure it's worth the effort though, god I hate garden pots :P (mostly due to UI issues which isn't something I expect everyone to share).

This game is hard, does not hold your hand and I've lost count of how many times I've raged never to play it again......yet I always come back.
When I first started I almost immediately quit with the basic 2d graphics and small little screen that you could not make bigger. (thank you clients) but somehow I fingered out how to chop down a tree. No I did not just chop at a pic and get some wood. That tree was gone....forever no one else could chop it . My mind was blown.

Since then I've muddled my way though learning about the wonders of wiki, not building near the water highway etc. Then I quit playing for a few years tried out easier games laughing at players complaining about how hard they were.
I still don't get fighting but with armor I can punch things to death, Not sure if I want to join a village. I'm still shocked as a hermit I can mine metals. I do think the world is too small though. I want to explore the wilds not peoples back yards.

I'm not sure what my point is in my ramblings except to say this game has been around for a long time and used to be much much harder than it is today. There's much that can be improved yes but broken no this game it far from broken.
let us all take a moment remember and honor trisby, the true desident of Tris, who was last seen in all white walking into a river with her beloved sledgehammer in her hands. May she find honor and glory in the next life
