Currently, Satiations aren't fun to manage and do not achieve their intended purpose of slowing FEP gain.
So here's what I suggest:
Satiation tied to Activity: Satiations would be tied to player activity, similar to experience events, but much more common.
Currently a fresh character can sit down at a table and feast nonstop all day to retarded high stats. In this system, drink would not affect satiations (they need a new use anyways). in this system, the max satiation a person can achieve is 100%
For this system to be effective, the Food satiation would have to play a stronger role. all food would be affected first by the Food satiation, and then by relevant satiations. FEP calculations would first multiply the FEP values by the Food satiaton for a maximum of (FEP * 1.0). Food in this scenario could be considered "Appetite", or how much your character wants to eat. FEP calculations would then multiply the FEP values by relevant satiations and add them as 'extra' to the Food Satiation calculation. all relevant satiations in this case could be considered "cravings".
FEP calculations, not calculating for hunger, would be (FEP * Food) + (FEP * Relevation Satiations).
ideally, an activity which increases satiations would increase a random satiation by a small sum, relevant satiations by a larger sum, and the Food satiation by the largest sum. For instance, chopping a tree would raise a random Satiation 1%, Nuts and Berries 2%, and Food 3%. Blacksmithing would raise a Random Satiation 1%, Sausage 3%, and Food 5%. in this fashion all characters will at least have SOME satiation bonuses in activities they cant/don't perform, while still receiving fair FEP based on Food Satiation values.
to sum up:
Satiations no longer go to 125%
Satiations are no longer affected by drinks
Satiations are increased by player activity, ideally relevant to the activity
FEP calculations are first based on Food Satation, or "Appetite",
And then bonus FEP are calculated based on relevant satiation, or "Cravings"
for a maximum of FEP*2, not counting hunger (de)buffs.
