Hunting Grounds

Essentially the idea is to protect hunting spots, high quality animal nodes. Most of newbs usually build over them unaware that they just blocked or completly ruined ideal spot for Moose that is 300+q.

It'd be claim like area restricting only vandalism and other claims being placed nearby. Perhaps can be only issued by villages and be very limited in amount you can support? 4 spots max per village. Something along those lines.

It would be helpful both to old timers since noobs can no longer straight up ruin the perfect hunting areas and 2 - beneficial to the noobs since they won't ruin their perfect hunting area that they're not even aware of.

kind of against this. MAYBE if only realms could do this within their realm. after all i think kings in the past had royal hunting grounds.

but this would be one hell of an attention magnet. you may as well announce to every raider in the server, "HIGH QUALITY RESOURCES HERE! COME AND KILL US FOR THEM!"

As if regular claims over anything aren't such indication.

The idea behind this is - anyone can enter and hunt there and take what they killed. They just can't build or claim near that area.

exactly. you cant put walls or any other defenses over such valuable resources. so the strongest raiders around will not only be there 24/7 for the animals, but will kill any players that happened to show up.

While true to some extent I think it would balance itself out.

The best spots fought over by factions, rest - a public service for haven community. Animals spawn each 15min roughly.

And there's also troll factor. Abusing it to be a pain to others. Should be a hustle just to build signs for the areas. Rare materials from local resources etc. We do not see people trolling others with village claims that often anyway.

Myeah, idk. I'm not sure I like the idea of more claim types for somewhat marginal purposes.
