Add kites.
Curiosity from branches, cloth and string (or thread/yarn?).
You could also fly it.

Craftable with a sketch? Also though, I think they should decay after flying them a while.

I was thinking about stories I had read about kite fighting, but we could do it Haven-style: two people flying kites fight and the winner takes the loser's kite.

The odds of being struck by lightning are very slim... the problem is... the wound typically leaves a person dead.

edit: ok, article I found on Google says it's about 1 in 10 that die, but that's modern medicine and all...
2nd edit: and yeah, anything that causes injury from lightning is "struck by lightning" even if the lightning itself didn't pass through you. You could be 20 feet away and get flash burns from electrical discharge without the tell tale 3rd degree burns of entry and exit, and you've still been struck by lightning.

I don't think that modern medicine matters if lightning strike strikes you.
The main method of dying is probably cardiac arrest, caused by the electricity flowing through ones heart, modern medicine is useless for that. (Except maybe if you happen to get stroked by lightning inside a hospital or something, right next to the right equipment and personnel)
Most people who survive lightning strike won't get hit by the main arc anyway.
Main point being that modern medicine probably does not affect that much on survival percentage from lightning strikes, I guess it can make recovery easier and maybe treat some disabilities from it.
