Carts are not so bad as far as pulling out the contents goes, but opening the UI of a wagon over and over is grating. Same for the knarr. There should be a way to just grab an item out without interacting with the inventory UI. Would make unloading anything much less of a headache. I wouldn't expect a water wagon/cart to be able to fill up instantly from a well or water source, you would still use a barrel there. The difference is you wont have to make a barrel for every slot, and you wont have to click as much to get the job done. Reducing clicks is a good thing!

I don't think it is appropriate to decide for somebody else, what they need. A cistern wagon, pulled by ox, that is filled one barrel at a time is a good addition
There should be more additions like this. It facilitates trade without requiring instant teleportation
