Yeah first thing I thought of when I saw the title was creel. And honestly that's more needed than a storage for lures. Having to boat back to shore when your inventory fills up with fish and then going back and finding the specific tile you were fishing it is a more frequent problem than pulling lures and hooks from a chest in your boat.

Maybe a cape-slot equipped item made with a lot of specific string (silkthread?) that can hold a full stockpile of fish?

A creel would perhaps be nice, and I wouldn't mind it if that could also hold fishing equipment in general.
