New spice, ingredient, and/or onion type. Delicious, stinky crop. Old world food, won't even go against "muh realism"

Why not add both garlic as a crop, as well as wild garlic as a spice.

Wild garlic is used as a spice in the real world and had a potent garlic taste in its leaves, the two have some overlap in uses but they both have unique uses as well.

Any means of getting garlic ingame sounds great to me.
Jorb loves random obnoxious wounds, so maybe suggesting a CHA-debuffing “Garlic Breath” will make him do more than just consider

Garlic would be a great addition and could be used as the first crop that must be produced via cultivar.

Wild garlic variants are super popular and could be potted and grown generation by generations with a tiny % chance to be picked as a bulbous segmented clove that can be actually grown like a farmable crop.

It would be pretty fun to have to grow wild and domesticated garlic separately for different feps, always running the risk that your wild might be picked as the farmable cultivar. Or maybe one is used as a spice and one is used for regular cooking recipes?
