It was mentioned like 100 times, but please consider metal shields.

There are different options for melee and ranged weapons, but only one shield. Please gib more!

If I remember correctly, they won't add them because of something something combat not in a good place something something consider.

Literally just a wooden shield with better AC and preferably no nipple in the center to block sketchbook graphics

Maybe something with a metal rim to make it more costly

Yes to all of the above.

Current "shield" in-game inventory makes me wonder if jorbtar had a deeply repressed shield accident during childhood so now all talk about shields gets pushed down under.
