Good for pies, grows in bush like things.

You eat the root, not leaf.

This is probably wise because I hear the leaf of this plant is poison.

YES

Rhubarb is an amazing plant that grows perfectly fine both wild and in a garden, can be continually harvested by just pulling the stems to keep it from going to seed, and you just cut the leaf off, compost it, and use the stem in whatever, it's a mix of bitter and sour with a little sweetness, and some people love to eat them raw (myself being one). Goes great in pies, muffins, probably some others that I haven't gotten a chance to try yet.

it can even be grown covered in the dead of winter, in some places.
It'd work great as either a plantable bush, a forageable or as crop. personally I'd prefer bush tbh.

I want god damn rhubarb and I will fight for it.
