Combat Staff/Walking Stick

So I realized that there isn't a Staff/Walking Stick in this game and I thought it might be an interesting addition. The addition of a sheleighly type weapon for early game which does relatively low damage but has the bonus of slightly reducing the stamina cost of movement or increasing movement speed by a very small amount when equipped.

Could provide some specific combat advantage against adders perhaps?

I thought the snake beating weapons were more like whips like the Sjambok?

+1 for a blunt weapon, more weapons seems more fun to muck around with.

I had a similar idea but where instead of (or additionally to) being a weapon, having it equipped would cause your branded animals to follow you, perhaps those marked a specific colour. Only to work on foot not in a vehicle and probably with a cap to how many animals follow you.
