Trees naturally falling

Sometimes there are high winds, or some insects eat the tree so that it dies and possibly rots, causing it to fall.

"Natural" forests that are not for economical uses have lot of fallen trees, rotting logs and stuff like that in them. Forests in HnH are very pristine with only very few old logs here and there.

Trees grow back these days, so I think that trees should also occasionally fall by themselves, then slowly turn to old logs and old stumps (already happens) and then those decay away (maybe doesn't happen yet)

I think it'd be a nice part of "renewing" areas after players abandon them. So long as it doesn't happen on claims I can't see a big issue with it.

As they now seem to natural grow, they better also naturally fall.
Or the game-world would be in danger ending up with unpassable forests. (never mind blocked trails, lol)

I'm sure new trees keep there distance to other older trees.
And/or some potential trees-per-area threshold might also be in play.
(... well, maybe)

Definitely need forest fires to solve all of the above.
