Claim Sale Signs

Postby Ferinex » Fri Oct 08, 2021 6:22 am

A constructable object which allows a price to be set for a claim, as a whole, to be sold. Payment deposited in nearby lockbox or similar. Upon interacting with the sign and meeting the sale price, bond of blood and soil immediately transfers to purchaser's study window or inventory.

And what would be the purpose for this? Beside encouraging claiming resource spots

Could be nice, but you could also probably sell the bond through a barter stand. The problem is the claim owner can reclaim it before the buyer fully studies it

Which could be solved by
1. only allow selling bonds through a barter stand owned by the same player
2. removing the study timer of bonds when they are sold onto a stand, so it can insta-transfer to the new owner.

Though this would open a way to instantly transfer the bonds of a character slain within his own base (as the murderers would likely also have access to the containers feeding the local barter stands), so better not go that route...
