This is an excellent idea to be honest, it's actually kind of weird how pickpocketing/mugging isn't actually a feature already.

I'm going to flex my tiny dick on every hermit I see either way, but kinda feel like being able to directly interact with people's inventories enables a lot of unintuitive noob death traps. A safer alternative would be just the ability to view it, and forcing the mugger to belt-or-die them.

You can grab them which gives you access to their inventory and also prevents them from moving, but it takes 10 seconds to achieve a grasp and at any moment if they do anything it's interrupted. So if they flee during this then you can just make the decision to KO them. After the grasp is successful, the victim can press a button to attempt to escape, but it takes 10 seconds before they free themselves. I think there's nothing wrong with being able to steal from afk players if you leave a scent. If villagers steal from each other it'll be funny and cause drama.

Edit: Actually yeah toggle would be better since people would use alts to pickpocket and it'd just motivate you to log off

Kinda off topic? In general I agree that fixing mechanics would be better than adding new content, but you're kinda dumb if you don't realize these statements contradict each other. As a retard with custom clients, no life, scripts, bots, and alts you're not going to abuse lethal nidbanes better than me.
