Primitive Life Expansion

Postby sMartins » Wed Aug 17, 2022 3:00 pm

So, everyone likes a fresh start .... The world has no trash, everybody running around with no fear of each other and so on.
Well, I think it's too short .... A matter of days, if not hours.

Consider to extend this period with more complex craftings and temporary buildings on the theme of a primitive Life.

No concrete suggestions rn.... But you get the idea .... If someone has ideas on how to make It real feel free to comment below

- "rock slab" as a slower frying pan
- drinking water collectors, so a new char could work even on a Sea island

You can get a frying pan within 3 days, I don't think we need a primitive version of it. If adding that, would want it to have unique recipes instead.
Lucky: haven is so quirky
Lucky: can be so ugly, can be so heartwarming
Sevenless: it is life

not everyone plays that way though, I stay farming and foraging and building for a long time before going for metal, probably not the only one...or maybe everyone is a speedster and I'm the only survival casual?

But like... it's only a couple hours of work. 4-5 max. Even a hermit should be able to do that in a week or two. Getting barebones metal is not hard at all. It barely requires any skills.

Frying pans skip past primitive life more than anything.
