I think having something between the bough bed and an actual bed would be nice, Having a bough bed inside a house just looks shabby, and plus it gives more use to the reeds. it would use sewing and dex for it, and done by hand as its fibers are large enough to weave by hand. I think it also fits the whole timeframe that the games got going for it, since people have been weaving fibers of plants for eons.

Some kind of bed between this hobo thatched bed could be really nice, a gape between thatched bed and sturdy bed is too huge, and bed made from straw/reed, boards, blocks and fur could be sweet.

With that change sturdy bed recipe can be improved to require wood polish

You already can make a Thatched Bed using reeds, and as reeds will have a higher quality than other thatching materials early in the game, it's an upgrade from beds made from boughs...

Yeah, the thatched bed IS the reed bed. personally I'd like to see a pile of straw with some dried furs for a blanket, that would make for a good in-between

Yeah, I think an interim bed option would be a good idea. Feels a bit weird how much more advanced a lot of my other stuff is but I'm still sleeping in the thatch-bed on the floor.
