month 0-3: stat cap has no effect
month 3-4: stat cap kinda does something, maybe
month 4+: trivial to make maxed characters, anvil is all that matters
rolling caps has the same issue because jorb made it 500+(50*month)

If the game is seasonal I don't see much of a point. The current iteration of feasting SUCKS FUCKING DICK tho, so I understand why everybody wants to side-step that actual dogshit.

This is likely the root issue.

I came up with the "cool-confused-chore" -response that new player will likely have with the feasting system.

"COOL, I eat food and get stronger."

"So many foods, I'm CONFUSED trying to figure out what I should eat."

"Cooking the optimal foods and eating them every day because satiation is such a CHORE, maybe I'll just stop caring about it since I already got enough stats to do most stuff I want to do."

This same principle likely applies up to a several different systems in Haven.
The most actively maintained Haven and Hearth Wiki (Not guaranteed to be up-to-date with all w14 changes.)
